Does anyone know how add your program to the start menu
and make it show up on the "Remove Programs" section of the control panel?

Howdy,

I'm not exactly sure, but I think all you have to do to add the app to the start menu is to add a folder and a shortcut to the startmenu folder (in windows folder i believe). As far as the "Remove Programs" deal, that probably has something to do with the registry.

Try researching that.

(NOTE: dont bet that I know what I am talking about)

Good Luck,

If you have it installed , the C++ Installshield software does all the things you want for you !

THink it comes free on professional versions...

But Uninstall for the control panel you can register under this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

You will register there:
\SomeOfYourApplications

Add two variables,
the variable DisplayName is the string what appears in ControlPanel but UninstallString is what is executed when you press uninstall.
