Using MSProjects 2007.

Is there a formula I can put into a number field that will indicate to me the start day of a task within its Summary?

For example:

Start Date Start Day
Summary 1 9/1/09
Task 1 9/1/09 1
Task 2 9/5/09 5
Task 3 9/6/09 6
Summary 2 9/2/09
Task 1 9/2/09 1
Task 2 9/3/09 2
Task 3 9/5/09 4

Thanks,
Ray

No.

You need to know the "OutlineParent.XXX" (where XXX is one of the fields you can reference).

This is not one of the fields available to you in Formula (though is exposed in the Object Model accessible by VBA).
