Start Date

Per a few of my previous posts I have multiple projects in one file as a lot of the projects we do are for multiple companys.

I am currently trying to add a new task layed out like such:

Company Name (summary task)
Summary Task
Detail Task
Detail Task

Under the Company name I set the start date to 2/11/08. As soon as I start adding the summary and detail tasks it changes the start date to 1/16/08. Any idea why it is doing this?

Summary tasks contain derived data. Start is derived from the earliest start of any of the sub-tasks; Finish is derived from the latest finish of any of the sub-tasks.
