Start and stop voicemail via Telnet

Voicemail is out of service on all phone extensions, other than that phone are working fine. Can't log into voicemail via web interface. Get internal system error message. How do I stop and start voicemail via telnet? Using Mitel 3300CX.

not telnet but SSH to port 2002 (RTC) i think. Command is ipVM stop then ipVM start. I might have the capital letters wrong way round but I am sure someone will put me right

RAW telnet connection to port 22

Should be able to use these commands:

vmPortStatusInfo

iPVM_Stop
iPVM_Start
iPVM_Status

Yes, I'm getting confused! It is a raw telnet connection on port 2002

It is not any sort of SSH connection and is not on port 22
