Starplus STS auto attendant

We have a Starplus STS System with inskin voice mail. We want to configure our voice mail/ autoattendant so that when a person calls they get a 2 level voice menu that does something like this...

"Hit 1 for more information"
> Visit our website... our office hours..."

"Hit 2 for a directory of extensions."
> "Dial 101 for Jon... 102 for Jay... etc"

First, is this possible. Second, can this be configured through the telephone without connecting a cable to the KSU. Last, what feature will get me further down the road toward this end?

First of all you would have to hook into the VM card witha laptop.

It can be done, Under number plan You can have your main tree CCR 1 and greeting 1 then in CCR1 when the caller presses 1 for website etc Goto CCR 2 and play greeting 4 the for the Press 3 have it goto ccr3 and play greeting 5

Greeting 1 would be recorded as your main menu
greeting 4 would be your address/web info
Greeting 5 would be a run-down of peoples extentions

I have a laptop. Where can I can get the equipment to connect into the KSU? What specific cable would I need to purchase?

Itis all in the manual. A strait thru cable with DB9s on each end, Most likely you will need a double female Gender changer for 1 end because Most straight thru cables have 1 male and 1 female and you need 2 females.
