starplus 616 flex time change

recently installed a refurbished starplus 616 flex and tried programming the time but programming will not accept.

it says:
Yr: 80-99
Month: 01-12
Day: 00-31
Hr: 00-23
Mn: 00-59
Press hold to enter data.

This unit will not accept the date and time. Any Suggestions?

Did you do this from x10? Did you input year, month, day (in double digits) and hours and minutes in military time (2400 hours) and press HOLD when finished? Does your KSU have the Real Time Clock Unit (RCU) installed?

The rcu wasn't installed. I took one out of an older system and installed on the new one. Everthing is now good.
