I currently have a Starband Ready PC with a constant satellite internet connection. This is shared with the other computers on my home LAN using a typical proxy server.
Here is some background before my question.
1. ONLY HTTP is accelerated on this connection. For example, HTTP file download 100K/sec. FTP/HTTPS/SOCKS download 6K/sec.
Is there any way to convert the slower requests to HTTP in order to have speed on all connection types?
If not, Would anyone have a suggestion to speed up at least the FTP access?
Thanks,
Jason
