Trying to come up with a effect of a booklet that has a stapled spine. ie like a cd booklet.

ok with the booklet, ok with the staples.

Looking for a few ideas on how to distress the "booklet" where the staples are.

Simply use pillow emboss in the layer style.

Of course, the best way would be to hand paint the depression and distress where the stapler and staple might wear against the paper.

What i did in the end was added a bit of white round the staples, then just smudged it, works surprisinly well. will post a picture up later.
