I am using CR10 with an oracle 9 database.

I was just tasked with calculating the standard deviation of total resolution time for closed tickets in our system.
From there I need to calculate the mean, plot both of those on a chart and then show the monthly average.

I know crystal has the functions for stddev, median, and average, not a big deal, it's the chart that is the problem.

Has anyone created one of these charts before?

I am not finding a chart that is made just for standard deviation and as usual crystal help isn't much help.

First create a chart with your raw data points. Then click on one of the markers and bring up the right-mouse SERIES OPTIONS dialog. Then go to TRENDLINES and select the curvefit you want: Std. Deviation, Mean, etc...

I've run across the same issue. Is there an add on you need for this? I don't have the options for Std Deviation, Mean, etc in my trandlines dialog box... I only have linear, polynomial, etc...

Thanks!

Which version of CR are you using?
Our CRChart add-in would support this for ANY version, but I thought that later versions of CR had std.deviation support.
