My company has developed several applications that use Mappoint 2002 controls. They all work great on computers where a standalone version of mappoint is installed.
The problem is on computers where the full version is not installed. For these, we require that the Mappoint runtime CD is in the CDROM at all times when you use the application.
Is there a way in VB.NET I can install all of the necessary components onto the workstation so the CD is not required? If we have to use the CD it's ok, but it could be a pain, plus an extra expense if we have to use official MS CDs
