Standalone AP mode reset

I have an AIR 3600 that has been flashed with IOS for standalone mode. If I do a reset using the mode button will it revert back to lightweight mode (and thus need a controller?)

Powering on the AP with the reset button pressed until the LED turns amber (1-2 seconds) will factory reset the AP. It won't change the software to CAPWAP (lightweight). However if you continue to hold the reset button until the LED turns red (20+ seconds) then it will enter recovery mode and attempt to download a recovery image via TFTP. This is normally how you would convert from autonomous to lightweight or vice versa.
