stand alone modules

We have CR 7, standard edition.
We can make stand alone report modules, but only those
persons with crystal designer installed on their pc's
can run the stand alone reports.
What are we doing wrong?

Alincon2001,

To create a stand alone report for use on a non Crystal PC - you must use the Report Distribution Expert located under the Report menu. You are probably using the Compile Report feature instead. Just follow the Report Distribution wizard, and it all should work out.
