Someone has told me it is possible to convert my Access databases into stand alone applications. Is this possible ? If so how can I convert them, any help would be greatfully appreciated. Thanks.

You need the developers kit. It does not hoever make a true stand alone. What it makes is a distribution copy of the access runtime enviorment to give to other people who may not have access, it also supplies your database. I have used it many times The A2K version of the developers kit is huge, on average about 130 megs I feel it lacks control for the programmer to make a truly customized installation. But it does serve it's purpose.
