Stacks not communicating with one another

Please help!

We have a set of 4 3Com Superstack switches. 1 of which is a master switch that the other 3 are connected to. However, this morning the master switch stopped talking to the other 3 so that all PC's connected to the master switch could communicate with one another but could not see any of the PC's on the other switches and vice versa.

We have reset the master switch by unplugging and plugging it back in but no joy, it seems to pass it's power on self test ok and the 3Com manuals say that an orange status light is ok?

Has anybody experienced this before?

I too had a similer problem but this was the problem with the extender kit. I tried to remove the cascasde cable and used a crossover cable to connect the switches it worked and latteron replaced the stack kit
