I have an LSP that is stacked with a total of 4 g700's and running off of an 8700. I have the LSP at the bottom of the stack and all of the stacking cables connected properly, I think. Shouldn't they then number themselves correctly from bottom to top (1-4)? In actuality my bottom g700 comes up as 1, next up is also 1, 3rd from bottom is 2, and the top one is also 1. I have read in the documentation that you need a black cable to connect the top module to the bottom module for redundancy, avaya tech support has told me that you can use one of the regular stacking cables to do this if it will reach. Is this true, or do I have to manually number them myself? Thanks in advance for any help.
