Hello

I am using CR8.5 and an access database.

I have a report that shows over the course of a year

number of actions - Y axis
type of action - x axis

the stack is split by canvasser type

The problem I have is that the software I have to use to produce the .db file limits the rows in a table to 99.

So, the actions table will only ever be able to display a maximum of 99. To get around this I have created 4 action tables for each quarter of the year.

Is it possible to write a formula that will add the IDkey value in each table together so that I can get a total for the entire year?

I hope that is clear.

Thanks
Peter

You could try manipulating the Show SQL query so that the fields from the four tables are merged. You would add one table to the report, with all selection criteria, etc., and the fields to be used added to the report, and then go to database->show SQL Query, right click and copy it, then at the end of the statement, add:

union all

...and then paste the query again and change the table names in all places. Repeat to add the other two tables. The fields in the initial query would then contain the values from all four tables. Since you want this to be a summary crosstab in the same report, you could add this in a subreport in the report footer.
