Using Paradox 5.0, getting the error message "Stack Overflow. Your methods or procedures are nested too deeply". Another error is within the error message window -"Operating system network error". The executable for Paradox is on the local C drive, and the FDL (menu) file is on the network. Help!

I think you've got two problems:

1. Stack Overflow usually indicates a recursive situation. For example, EventA triggers EventB, which triggers EventA. Eventually, all available memoryis used up and the error occurs.

If you're triggering actions, consider using postAction() instead.

If you're not triggering actions, please provide some information regarding what you are doing on this form.

2. Operating system errors are either a) long file name troubles or b) stylesheet problems. Since you're using Paradox 5.0, I'm going to guess the latter. There is a series of related articles on my site. Start with
