Hello team,

we have built a stack of two ERS 3524 and one ERS 3549, when I type (show stack health) I can see everyting is ok, then I have create VLANs on that stack, but devices on the same vlan cannot reach each other !!

when I tried with a standalone Switch either 3524 or 3549, the VLAN configuration work fine, so I think the stack is not supported bewteen two different model of ERS switches,

Please anyone can confirm ?

Thank you

Mixed stacks are supported.

Have you tried making the ERS 3549 the base unit?

The release notes say that a mixed stack needs at least 5.1 software, but the 3549 was released with 5.2 software.

What software are you running on the stack? I would make sure it is 5.2 or higher.

As well as stack health have you checked stack port-stats, are packets being tx/rx?

# show stack port-statistics

thanks andy88, I have two ERS 3524 and one 3549
The ERS 3524 is base unit (Master), I can see the stack health OK
so I confirm that it is possible to have a mixed stack

it is version 5.2

Thank you
