ST500 QR Profile

In st500 profile screen, there is an option to load new profile via QR code.

Does anyone have any specifics on how this works.
I’ve tried encoding an exported profile as text in a QR code.
Tried uploading the exported profile imr file to web host and put the web link in a QR code.

Both end in an error saying unable to import.
