st.conf entries for LTO3 HP tape drives 1

Does the st.conf file require entries for HP LTO3 drives?
st.conf patch 108725-24 is installed.

I do not have any of these but i found this link. Did you check to see if the LTO3 entry was added after installing patch? If it was i would check it against this doc from HP. You do need an entry for the LTO3. The doc shows entry for system without patch and a different entry for a system with the patch.
