Hi,
We are a telecom company, and have to create once a month an invoice for all of our customers.
An invoice consists of a first page and one or more page with call details.
Currently, we create snapshot files (.snp) for every customer from Access reports via vba script.
Those snapshot files are then printed and mailed.
We have SS2K running as backend and Access 2002 as front-end.
As Access reports are getting less reliable, I am considering using some other mean of reporting.
Having no experience at all with RS, I would appreciate some directions to be able to do the following:
1. to be able to create pdf files instead of those silly snp files, and do have it done fast.
2. to be able to e-mail those pdf files for the customers who desire it.
3. to have those pdf available online on our website for our customers.
What could be the best way to have the job done with RS?
In order words, I have no idea where to begin from, as from all the post I visioned it seems quite complicated to install and manage RS...
Any suggestion, ideas, etc wil be greatly appreciated.
