SSRS 2000 connection error

Hi,

i am currently developing a SSRS report using VS.Net 2003 on my local machine. I have insalled SSRS 2000 client tools and i am pointing to a Report Server to deploy my reports (ie

https://servername/ReportServer.

However, when i try to deploy my report from my local machine to the Report Server, i get the following error:

A connection could not be made to the report server

https://servername/ReportServer.

i also have Visual studio 2005 running side by side with 2003, but not sure if that makes a difference or not.

try adding the port # to your URL...

http://servername:<port#>/Reports/

How do i find out what port it's using?

Ask your network admin. I think it defaults to 8081.
