SSO using SiteMinder

if REMOTE_USER is the variable set by site minder there is no difference from regular AD variable.

H'mm you will be better served if you could touch base with somebody in OT development. The mechanism is basically very simple the LLCOOKIE contains the value for REMOTE_USER which SHOULD bet set by site minder.I see that you are using SMSESSION as the variable.I do not know why you need to do it but if that is the case I would search in the opentext.ini file that you are connecting to see if SMSESSION is defined.If that is not available or SET I would not know how livelink will know to use it.
