I am going nuts trying to figure out where I went wrong. I have a federation server fully working with salesforce in my intranet but I need to set it up so iPads can get to it from their 4G connections. I setup a port forward to a federation server proxy in my DMZ from my firewall and it comes up but when you click sign in, it goes from the external DNS name to the internal DNS name in the browser. So, it seems like it works from in house but from the outside it just fails to find server. The proxy install was very straight forward with very minimal to configure so I can not see where I went wrong. Is it an IIS setting that I am missing?
