SSL with FTP?

Hi,

I am usinsg WinInet dll for FTP operations.
Basically calling InternetConnect(), FTPOpenFile(), FTPPUTFile() etc.

But while I send the ID and password through InternetConnect() fuction, I need to do this using SSL.

There are SSL operations available through WinInet APIs, but they are meant for HTTP operations only.

Is there a way out, or I have to go for some basic Socket programming?
