We have an ASA5510 Ver 8.0.4. We are using within the IT Dept. SSL VPN/AnyConnect client. Want to roll out to other departments but want to restrict to company equipment.

Is there a way by group policy, users, etc to restrict the machine that can access via MAC address?

Reason being, employee uses their company laptop, but then one day go to their friends house, forgetting to bring the company laptop. Jump on the friend's computer to login to the company VPN. Only want used on company machines or approved machines.

Any way to accomplish this?

Thanks,

Jim

Gosh, the only way that I know of is by using the Cisco Secure Desktop add-in. You can check registry keys for domain membership.

I hate all Uppercase... I don't want my groups to seem angry at me all the time! =)
