Hi
I have searched and searched but cannot find a solution to my latest error. (the error is reported heaps but no solution for me is apparent)
I am trying to set up ssl on my server. I have all working, ie self-signed cert in place, openssl installed, however i keep getting this error when i run Apache -D SSL
(OS10048)Only one useage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted. :make_sock could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:443 no listening sockets available, shutting down, unable to open logs.
I have tried allsorts, putting the ip before the 443 in the listen directive, commenting it out altogether in ssl.conf, so on and so forth. I am now at day 3 and getting frustrated.
I am running apache 2.0.47(win32) mod_ssl 2.0.47 OpenSSL/0.9.7b
Windows 2000
can anyone here please help?
Tracey
