Hello All
I have apache running succesfully on my w2k server.
Can someone tell me how to activate or setup the SSL in Apache?

Regards

Hello Wullie
Thanks for the information. But Please clarify me on the doubts. I have apache 2.0 running on my W2K server.
In the link Step 2 is obtaining modssl and openssl.
I downloaded a file called OpenSSL-0.9.6c-Windows.zip and found the dlls and openssl.exe and cnf files which are required for step 2 and 3.
Step 4 states "Configuring Apache and mod_ssl"..for this step I downloaded a file Apache-2.0.39-Mod_SSL-OpenSSL-0.9.6d-Win32.zip and I am not able to find any dll files in the archive. But the faq states copy the dlls and exes in to the modules directory. Have I downloaded the wrong file.
I am so confused about the modssl and openssl. Are these 2 required for apache to work with SSL or anyone is enough.

Also I have apache 2.0. But I am not sure whether SSL has been integrated in to this version. How do I check this?

Thanks
MP

mod_ssl is compiled by default with Apache 2.0. I'm not sure if this applies to the windows binaries, but I think that it should be included. //Daniel

Hello I have followed the steps in tud.at link to set apache with ssl. I am facing a problem when starting apache.
When starting apache it complained "specified module mod_ssl.so cannot be found". Then I copied the dlls to the system32 directory and when started apache again it is saying "Cannot load module. specified procedure could not be found." I have followed the documentation thoroughly and unable to get a answer. any suggestions
