Hi

I have a client who wants to implement SSL for Outlook Web Access on Exchange 2000. What does it take in order to do this? I've done a little research on it but I'm a little unclear about things. Do they have to buy a certificate from a Certificate Authority like Verisign or can we just setup a certificate server on Windows 2000? They don't need SSL for their website or anything, just Exchange communications. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Matt L

It is only necessary to buy a certificate if you want to rid yourself of the pop-up window that your users will encounter when they try to connect via HTTPS. If your users are capable of handling clicking "Yes" then you can go on without purchasing a certificate.
