SSL configured as DSO vs Compiled i

SSL configured as DSO vs Compiled in module.
I remember reading somewhere that SSL doesn't work as a DSO.
Could someone help me locate this information. Maybe that it's not as stable or something like that.

No, I'm referring to loading ssl as an Apache compiled in module or as a Dynamic Shared object, both would be using mod_ssl, I believe.
