I want install a site certificate on my IIS 4.0 Server.

- I installed and configured Certificate Server as the Root CA.
- In Certificate Server setup, I created the self-signed root certificate.
- In Internet Explorer, I used the HTML tool (<A HREF=" TARGET="_new"> to install the Certification Authority certificate on both the Web Server and the client. When I call up the certificate on both machines, they are both OK.
- In key manager, I create a private/public key successfully. I bind it to www, my web server's IP address, and port 443 (SSL).

The problem is that when I access the site with a Security Alert pops up warning me that "The security certificate was issued by a company you have not chosen to trust. View the certificate to determine whether you want to trust the certifying authority."

Does anyone know why my client browser is not trusting the certificates that are issued by my web server?
