I'm creating a website that will have some pretty sensitive information, so I want to buy an SSL certificate. Should I buy it from VeriSign or GoDaddy? I'm honestly a little confused.

Bearing in mind you will pay more and your information/data is sensitive, I would recommend Verisign simply because of the strength of their encryption and widespread use.

Verisign vs. Godaddy IMHO is no contest.
But there are other services out there like Thawte, which are also strong and secure.

I have used the services from all three and others, but have settled on verisign every time. But I suppose it depends on who's paying....
