Hello

I've a difficult question.
I've an apache server, with ssl module which works with https.

I want to block access of my website for everyone except for a small groups of people using a specific certificate I will give us by usb/email.

But I don't know how to configure apache to make it stop giving the certificate automatically to everyone.
(we can see in the screen shot, if I click on the "ok" button, I will get the certificate automatically and then I will be allowed to access the website :( )

anyone has an ideas ?
(I think it's simply a ssl configuration command in the httpd.conf but I didn't found in the documentation)

I think you have a bit of confusion regarding the term certificate. First, there is the certificate that is used to identify that the website is who/what it says it is and this is what you have captured in your post.

Second, what you are after is also a form of authentication certificate, but you want one that the CLIENT will use to tell the server that the CLIENT is who they say they are.

To configure this type of setup, I recommend looking at the following site:
It contains detailed instructions on how to configure both of these types of setups.
