I'mtrying to get this to work.
I'm using exchange 5.5 and OWA all on one machine.... now I know I'm suppose to use two machines, the only problem is I don't have another one so I'm stuck doin everything on one machine.

I can get webmail to work locally on my network, I just can't get it to work outside into the real word... what am I missing.... I mean I went to microsofts KB did the research did what they said about the permissions on the logon.asp file... I also know to set that file up on IIS as a defaul webpage (logon.asp).

second thing is I want to use SSL...... the info I find is all for exchage and NT 4.0 not exchange and w2k......
can someone please give me a helping hand
thanks!

On your first issue, it sounds like a firewall issue. Do you have a firewall?
You need to have a DNS entry from your ISP pointing to this machine (ie. mail.company.com) You also need to have port 80 enabled through your firewall to this machine. If you get the second part working, you will also need port 443 enabled for the SSL packets.
