Is this a new forum? If so, may I have the honour of posting the first question.
I am trying to migrate a non-SQL Server database to SQL Server 2005. The source database happens to be a Visual FoxPro DBC, but that's not really relevant. As far as SSIS is concerned, it is an OLE DB data source.
I am using the SSIS import wizard, and this has successfully imported all the tables, columns and data types. However, there seems to be no way of importing indexes or constraints.
Am I right that this is a limitation of the import wizard, or am I missing something?
It's not a big issue. I can always find other ways of doing the job. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something obvious.
