I have a website on a UNIX Server... I am trying to #include a footer file on a main page saved as index.shtml

Seems to work fine, however if i make a change to footer.html;
index.shtml does not reflect the changes unless i upload IT a second time?

Any clue as to why? I think I have everything right?
the text for my include is
Code:
<!--include file="footer.html" -->

Server side includes are a function of the web server. If you are certain that the server has been set up for ssi correctly, check and make sure that the file on the web server has truly been updated after you make your change.
