SSI on apache

I am tiring to get server side includes to run on apache 1.3.19 with FrontPage extensions installed under Solaris 8.
I have tried editing the httpd.conf file and setting the server-parsed directive and I have also tried the XBithack on but neither has worked. Can anyone please give me a hint to what I might be missing?

Hi mate,

Can you post your httpd.conf here?

Change any ip or hostnames etc..
