Howdy,

Is anyone familiar with sshd_config file in /etc/ssh? I limit the number of users who can use ssh2 to the server (ftp and for lack of a better description, and telnet). I must have, I don't know, 70 or 80 users with permission granted to SSH to the server. When I try to add a new user, the script gets corrupted. I think the problem is line 80 in sshd_config where you enter the users. I do this through Webmin.

Thanks!

Never heard of that before within the sshd_config.

Try adding a user on the CLI instead of Webmin and see if it is successful.

Or maybe make a backup working copy of your config file, then try to make a new sshd_config file from scratch using webmin. It may just be showing you a bug in it's code because the file you tell it to modify isn't _exactly_ what it's expecting to fool with.

What distro are you using and version?

I don't see these options in my sshd_config file (/etc/ssh/sshd_config).

What script gets corrupted?
