SSH

It looks like we are going to start migrating to SSH from Telnet, rcp and ftp.

There is no SSH on my 5.8 servers.

Looking to see if I can find some documentation to see if SSH is supported at this level, install and configuration manuals, etc.

If you have ever worked with SSH on 5.8, let me know...

Yes SSH works with SOlaris 8. You will probably need OpenSSL, OpenSSH, and the /dev/random patch. I have my SSH binaries and config files located in one spot on my NFS server. Every machine has it's keys and what not stored locally on the client, and I wrote a script to make sure SSH is running and if not then start it up. Pretty simple and straight forward to get working.
