When I create new logins for users, and that user attempts to login to a Netra running Solaris 8 the screen is blank. They see no text as if they have no shell, but they have been assigned a shell. Previous users can ssh in just fine. Ideas?

What authentication mechanism are they using? Are they passing that authentication? Do they show as logged in through w or finger while they are sitting at this blank screen? Have you tried enabling verbose logging in the SSH client, or running the sshd on the server in debugging mode?
