SSH Question

Hi folks, one simply question on SSH...

Scenario is this. I've numerous PIXes running at different sites and the most recent PIX I deployed seems a bit wierd. Whenever I SSH to it on the Outside interface, my Putty SSH client would open up its usual black screen but the screen would immediately close off without warning. Any idea? The rest of the PIXes are fine with SSH and are running similar configuration. SSH are configured as:

SSH 0 0 outside
SSH timeout 5

They are running on 6.2.2.

HI.

Make sure that your SSH client configuration is correct - did you select SSH version 1?

At the pix, check if you have a valid ca key, and generate one if needed:

show ca mypub rsa

ca generate rsa key 1024
ca save all

Yizhar is right. Also make sure that the 3DES option is available in the show version.

In addition, you should better specify a specific IP or subnet instead of the whole world.
