ssh on trusted systems

HP Secure Shell 3.50
Trusted System
Using Reflection 10.0.4 and RSC 10.0.4 from client.

Have set up sshd_config with following variables set:
X11Forwarding yes
X11UseLocalhost no

Client side is only using password authentication.

X Connections are going through. Realized:
1. /etc/issue is not being displayed. Legel banner needs to be displayed as per company policy.
2. As password expiration approaches, message is not shown. Thus account is locked, because user did ot know to change password.

Messages do appear if using hpterm emulation.

I have both HP and Reflection tech support stumped. Any help out there?

I set the Banner value to the file /etc/issue and that works.

Password expiration messages are still an issue
