I am essentially in the same boat as you. I just installed SSH as well. I am trying to facilitate secure ftp transfers but keep getting permission denied when putting the file. Also admin account can't login using psftp. Any progress on your situation?

I found an answer on the Novell site. On users created with 'old' tools, nwadmin, a uniqueID was not created in others. Add the attribute giving it the user name and it will take care of the problem. At least it did for me. I still have other issues.

Create the uniqueID on each user that can't login. Set the value of the attribute to the users name. Sorry, I don't have the TID. Doah!

You never found SSH into a netware console usefull??? Marv?? dude, it THE way to get a remote console when your using a Linux workstation.

Been loading this in the background at client sites so I do not have to use the java console or fireup Vmware to use Freecon (wine fubars when loading Freecon)

Read to the strains of "You can't always get what you want" by The Rolling Stones...

I want software that has a "Work" button.

It worked for me. I still have other issues. If I find something I think might help i'll post it.

what platform and what client are you using to access ssh on the server?

And for you NullOP, check this TID

Please ensure you read"securing traditional FTP through SSL, compliant with RFC 2228 - is not connected with the subject of OpenSSH it's SFTP. OpenSSH and it's SFTP are completely different protocols from traditional FTP and SSL (although, in some cases both types can be done from within one client program).

For SFTP, cehck these tids

If they do not help, please post better info on your issue so you can get better help

"I don't remember clicking the button that said 'Surprise Me'!"
