Have started to upgrade our site of 100 odd XOS switches from 12.3.3.6 to 12.5.4.5
This seems to be fine however it wont load the ssh modules for 12.5.4.5.
For every switch I load the inactive partition with the OS and then ssh module for that version and reboot.
it seems on most of them that it doesnt recognise the modules loaded when running a "show management" on the switch.
If i try to download and install again it says "Image installation finished with status failure -Package exists, please uninstall existing package first"
so I follow the prompts and terminate the thhtpd and snmpMaster processes and on running a uninstall image "module name" it says
"Image uninstallation finished with status failure -mount: mounting /dev/mtdblock2 on /exos failed: Device or resource busy"
and thats where I'm now stuck! anyone have any views on this?
the actual version of code is summitX-12.5.4.5-patch1-2.xos and the ssh module summitX-12.5.4.5-patch1-2-ssh.xmod
thanks
Ian
