does anyone know or have a peice of code that will ssh to a host and perform commands?

plink.exe

i have a consumer script which binds to a folder, loops through each .txt file in order and issues the commands in them to the plink.exe session. when loading up plink.exe pass it the ip and account info

Yes, plink is the way to go. It is scriptable via the standard I/O streams. I'm not aware of any free COM object for this purpose.
