Hi

My question is : Is it possible to configure ssh, without going down the route of setting up public/private keys, so a user is not prompted to enter a password?

AIX 6.1

Also I know it's a security risk etc, but just need to know f it's possible. The web and this forum says it is, but only if invoking ssh-keygen etc.

thanks

No.

You will need to use keys of some kind; either host or user key pairs.
