I am hoping someone can help me with this rather strange error I am getting when trying to set up ssh on a new Solaris 10 x86 install.
When I try to run ssh-keygen to create a key for my server, it errors out with ssh-keygen: cannot execute
Let me start by saying that I have installed a FULL distribution on this machine before and gotten SSH working with no problems. All I did was remove the hard drive, replace it with a similar model and install just the core distribution
What I first noticed was that SSH wasn't installed - no problem. I located the packages and installed them via pkgadd.
Now, I need to create the SSH key but I cannot get the keygen to execute (I double checked rwx permissions, too). I googled the error and cannot find anything relevant. Is there something (i.e. a package or library) I am missing that will make this work?
Thanks in advance!
