Hey,
I know this question has been asked and answered before but I am reposting as old SSDs are becoming near impossible to get.

Can anyone confirm which newer model SSDs might work on BCM50 R1 - R6, BCM 400 3.7 - 4 or BCM450 R1 - R6?

I was given this link that was for anyone who wanted to know if you could get a SATA to IDE connector.

As for the different SSD drives, It looks as if it is a trial an error as some work and some don't.

I'm told that 64Gig Kingston drives are OK.

Has anyone else got an update on what works please?

I've been using 64GB Crucial V4 drives for BCM50 (all releases) without any issues for a number of years. I also used to use Intel X25-M drives (40GB or 80GB), but nowadays they are impossible to find.
