What's the difference between SSC and SCL in Meridian Option 11? I mean in term of technical and user view. I'm a newbie with this system and seems to me that both of them are just a Speed Call List.
Thanks all.
SCL is speed call list you build in LD 18. SSC is speed call controller where you can assign a specific speed call list to a individuals telephone set. This phone is now the controller for this speed call list so that they can add, change or modify their speed call list withiout someone else having to go into the system to do it for them.
SCL is a regular speed call list.
KEY xx SCU (user)
KEY xx SCC (controller)
SSC is a System Speed Call list.
KEY xx SSU (user)
KEY xx SSC (controller)
The main difference is that a System Speed Call list allows the user to overide the TGAR and NCOS restrictions on the phone. This is good to use for a fully restricted phone that need access to just a few sprcific numbers.
