SSA Tool language 1

Hi!

Since forum search produces only entries up to 30.10.2007 (at least for me) I'm not able to verify whether this was asked before.

My OS language is german - therefore SSA is german. Beause the translation is very poor I want to change the language to English. Is this somehow possible (as with manager) without changing the language of the OS?

I tried to use the sss.jar file instead of the sss_de.jar but this changed only the language of the help file.

install the english manager?

just select english when you run the installer

It will only change when you change the language settings of your pc that you use.

Interesting, so when you get the dialogue box to install in a different language, that should in fact install it in the language you selected.

That's only the language throughout the installation not the application itself.

Goto;

C:\Program Files\Avaya\IP Office\System Status\

make a copy of the ssaviewer.exe
Open ssaviewer.exe with WinRAR
Then goto the map "res" and rename;

data_de.properties
enums_de.properties
main_de.properties
util_de.properties
views_de.properties

into;
_data_de.properties
_enums_de.properties
_main_de.properties
_util_de.properties
_views_de.properties

Now start SSA....and it will start in English...
